Blog frustration, please help

In general I'm not overly good with technology which often lead to frustration, which leads to broken mouses, which leads to the reason I now buy the cheap corded mouses. Now I'm not sure if this is me (I hope it's not because it shouldn't take a rocket scientist to set up a blog page) but can anyone tell me why I keep losing eleiments of my blog background, specifically my picture ? It's there for awhile and then it goes black and dissapears. Currently the top of my blog should have a picture of tulips to the left and then red to the right all behind my title and saying. When I first go to my blog it's there and then POOF picture and color red gone and black replaces it.

now I know some of you can relate, and some of you can't but aside from the frustration/anger that I generally feel towards my lack of understanding about technology and how this all works correctly BUT being give or take 5 weeks away from having baby the emotional reaction of choice lately has been tears tears and more tears. I JUST WANT SOMETHING TO WORK BEFORE I HAVE A COMPLETE BREAKDOWN

it's not disappearing for me. hmmmmm. this new blogger template thing seems to have a lot of glitches :( I wish I could help, but it confuses the heck out of me too and i'd like to avoid reaching 'i'm going to throw this laptop out the window' levels of pregnancy frustration :) just remember the blog is not a person and it is not out to get out.

hey Dom, I've been having frustrations too, hence the simple blog I have now. I could not et the other stuff to work properly either, I also could not add a picture at all. I know it is no help, but I do share in your frustration.

Hey, (it's Heidi from CBC just not to creep you out!) I saw the tulip and red background when I first loaded your page and then it disappeared for me too...how did you make the heading? Is it all in different layers? (the tulips, red part and words) or did you make them all into one picture? Did you make your header in a different program and then upload the picture or how did you do it?

well I made it all with just the Blogger templates. So I picked the template and then added the picture. It's weird though because it dissapears on my computer at home but at work it doesn't, so I have no idea. So frustrating

That's funny cuz it goes black for me at work but at home I can see it...haha strange. I made my own header, and then just downloaded it into the header spot. I'm not sure I can be much help without actually working with it directly. Do you have any photo editing programs where you can make your picture yourself?
