Base layer

The building is done so I guess I would classify this next part the beginnings of the making of our home, the base layer is in (a.k.a the furniture). I was worried that it wasn't going to feel homey for the first little while but it does feel homey and I'm glad to finally be in and functioning, or semi-functioning.

Living room
front entry
(the door will be painted once it's warm enough outside to take it off)

Aside from the mess of boxes upstairs that I need to tackle, there are some other small things that need to be completed and then the fun/hard part, hanging the pictures and other wall ornaments. I didn't think this would be tough but I look at what we have and realize that everything was purchased for a certain place in the old house. Not that that's a big deal, but I'm am finding it a bit more challenging deciding where things should go in this house. I know it will all come together, but until then my walls will be bare.

It's incredible! Love every bit of it. The living room chair is a great accent to the fireplace. AMAZING!
