Praying for Olivia

I guess you could call this the post that no sister-in-law ever wants to write, but after praying long and hard about it I have decided it's what I need to do. Most of you who read this are my closest friends who I have experience happy and sad times with. My details will me vague, but please know that this situation is serious and I ask that if you feel lead please pray

Olivia is my 15yr old Sister- in-law, she is the 15yr old that you look at and say "she's not 15, she must me older" but she's not. She's stunningly beautiful, has a infectious personality and a love for people and children. She has a lot going for her, however bad things have crept into her life and although her mom has worked hard to keep her from those things, at this point her family has been out sourced.

This past weekend Olivia came to stay with us for a few nights, as she had a decision to make. A decision to make a change that will save her life. She did not make the decision we had hoped and prayed for.

I don't feel as though I am a naive person, however knowing that something horrible exists, and then seeing it first hand is a completely different can of worms. There are no words for the brokenness I felt this weekend as I witnessed a life style and realized how helpless I am.

I can't write any more, it's too hard. Please just pray for Olivia and our family as we try to support and love her.

Praying hard. I just figured out that you had a blog, so I'm sorry I wasn't here for you sooner. Phone date?
