He likes, now She likes

Have you ever noticed that when you spend a lot of time with someone you start to become more and more like them. I have found this to be especially true in marriage, my marriage to be more precise.

One day I was cooking and made a comment in regards to a particular food that Joel, until meeting me, never liked to eat but has since classified as a favorite. Some of these foods consist of Asparagus, Sushi and Feta Cheese. These are some of my favorites so as far as I'm concerned it has worked in my favor that he has discovered a love for them as well. However, I started to think about the foods that I have learned to not hate(it's not a love, it's a non hate) that I seldom if ever ate before meeting Him. These foods consist of Kraft dinner, Pizza pops and Chinese food. I'm assuming that this is one of the goods and bads that come along with being married, that being that Joel starts to eat food that is good for him and I, I eat food that is really bad for me. Perhaps this is why my pants are too small and Joel are too big, oh the Irony.

A couple of other little things that we have taken from each other are:
My outdoor appareal has increased 100%, but his shoe collection has gone from 1 pair to 8(and he thinks about what pair he wants to wear). I like watching Holmes on Homes and He likes watching Reba. I have discovered that action movies are awesome and he no longer thinks romanic comedies are all bad (it's a start). It just goes to show that our influence is a powerful thing, however it's not powerful enough to convinve Joel that shopping is a good thing. But we're only 2 years into out marraige, there's lots of time :)

Dom, I can relate to a lot of those things too! So funny how we adapt to each other hey?

So you are saying that there is still hope Katie? LOL If I say anything with 'store' in the same sentence, I am 98% guarenteed to be going alone. :D

So true, so true. Marriage does all of that for sure! AS I have started to eat healthy and loose weight my hubby has started to loose weight also. Not what I was going for mind you and yet I am happy we are both being healthier.

And yes getting my tattoo hurt, yet the pain is worth it considering what it means to me and that one day when we have kids I will add a butterfly for each child we have biological or adopted! Still need to figure out what to tat on me for Jeral!

And oh I know Janelle from Bible College!

Ha! Dom that is awesome, and so true. I'm sure I would have a similar list. I (am forced to) watch holmes on Homes almost everyday! I don't love it but it's growing on me a little.
